History

International Assembly was founded by T.E. Koshy, an international student who stepped on the campus of Syracuse University for the first time 57 years ago (1965).  Koshy came to SU with a great love for the Lord & a hunger to grow deeper in his faith.  However, there were no churches or assembly of Bible-believing Christians that catered to the growing international community of students on the campus.  What started as a house church on Ostrom Avenue, ministering to the lonely international students he encountered on the SU campus, has now become a full-grown, non-denominational, Bible-believing church with its own facility in Jamesville, NY.  International Assembly has ministered to many people who have walked through its doors through the preaching of the Word of God, and through International Friendship Evangelism (also known as IFE), an outreach of the assembly, which was also started by T.E. Koshy in his days as a student at Syracuse University.
